Just got the new Braddock tee back yesterday. Available in a variety of colors and sizes. Printed on Alternative Apparel. Girls sizes and burnouts are available. $20 for the tee and $25 for the burnout style tees. There was a huge event at Unsmoke Systems called; Gold in Braddock. It was a big event, around 15 different artists from around the country joined forces for this event. Live band, pizza oven going full blast and a lot of good art, some interactive, some not.

Been super busy lately, quit one job got a new job, doing a bunch of work for John at the convent. These next few posts will cover most of the last month.
Juan and myself have been working on the convent. Its a place when visiting artists and guest can stay during their time in Braddock. Sanded floors, fixed doors, painted walls, hung drywall and so much more.
The house is finally done! Now I’m working on the silk screen studio. That is almost done as well. Here are some pics. more to come.

Shepard Fairey (OBEY, the Obama poster, etc…) was in Braddock yesterday to do a installation on the main strip (Braddock Ave). He had about 5 guys with him to help with the work. Funny, one of the guys was the baby from the Nirvana album. John had said he (Shepard) was thinking about do a piece in Braddock but hadn’t made a decision (location). Then Shannon got the call; he was doing it right now! We headed down to the location and watched, talked and just pretty much hung out while they put it up. It took about a total of 45 minutes to do the whole piece. Puhala’s after.

Hey just the “Starving Artist” here. Shannon was in a article on Workday Minnesota? I guess it is a site in Minnesota that happened to run into Shannon after a meeting with John. It’s a strange article, Shannon is misquoted many, many times and I wouldn’t say it’s the best article on Braddock. She does have several paragraphs though. I guess they talked with her for a while and still screwed up some basic info but hey that’s reporters for you. Check it out at.
