Kansas City is hosting a nice event this weekend.  A few friends from the old crew are throwing together a party @ Gusto in a club downtown this weekend. Broadway and Wilson are headlining as well as a few other house performers. Down stairs is old school hip hop and r&b. Only 5$ cover!

DEMF is coming up. Detroit has an amazing electronics music festival every year. If you can go it’s quite amazing all the talent that fly’s in from around the world to make the festival awesome. Unfortunately I can’t go this year but my brother will be playing a party up there. enjoy

Had to make a trip to Chicago. Did some work in the condo and helped my brother with the finishing touches on his condo so he can rent it. If anyone is looking for a badass condo in the Lakeview area, LMK.

Just wish there was more Asian food options here in Pittsburgh, can’t find Pho, Korean BBQ or Dim Sum like I can in Chicago.

There was a huge event at Unsmoke Systems called; Gold in Braddock. It was a big event, around 15 different artists from around the country joined forces for this event. Live band, pizza oven going full blast and a lot of good art, some interactive, some not.

Been super busy lately, quit one job got a new job, doing a bunch of work for John at the convent. These next few posts will cover most of the last month.

Juan and myself have been working on the convent. Its a place when visiting artists and guest can stay during their time in Braddock. Sanded floors, fixed doors, painted walls, hung drywall and so much more.

Just got back from a Chicago trip. It is still cold up there! It was awesome to see everybody; neal,t,jeff, jax, keith, scott and the cabo crew, Darren, Thomas and everybody on the floor. And of course it being restaurant week in Chicago the food was excellent also.

Andrew and Jeff were on a WNUR 5 hour block of house music, that aired Tuesday. I got a chance to check out the show and meet the guys hosting and see WNUR’s archives.

I flew to Chicago for Andrew Emil & Jeff Bloom’s record release party. Andrew and Jeff are “Broadway & Wilson”. They just released their full length album titled “Good Old Daze” LP through Farris Wheel. Available at stompy.com. It was a good night, J-Dub, Lady D and Gene Farris played also. It’s an excellent album worth picking up!
